13 MARCH 2006 - FALSE CLAIM OF ASSOCIATION IN THE BOLTON AREA

We would like to bring to your attention that one or more food outlets in the Bolton area have falsely claimed to be associated and/or approved by HMC and have misused the registered HMC certification mark on their recent leaflets. This is a clear deception and HMC absolves itself of any involvement with such outlets not displaying our certificate.

Please note that HMC logo is a registered certification mark (2344757) and all rights are reserved. It may not be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, or by any information storage and retrieval system without permission. Legal action will be taken against such offenders.

Currently only one fast food outlet is certified by HMC in the Bolton area which is Bar.B.Q.Base, Derby St, Bolton.
